The Photographer

Hi there,
I'm Adrian Ortega

I'm a Senior in college with a passion for capturing both digital and analog pictures. My journey began back in middle school when I first had full access to a phone. I was constantly recording moments with my friends, often capturing situations most people wouldn't even think to record to which then I would compile into a series of funny episodes and post them online. Before long, I became known around school as "the camera guy," and it wasn't uncommon to hear people say, "If Adrian didn't record it, it didn't happen." In high school, being the media guy I am I asked my friend if I could borrow his Canon Rebel T7 and that moment changed everything. I instantly fell in love with the feel and power of a real camera. From there, I spiraled deep into the world of photography and videography. Though I couldn't afford my own camera at the time, I kept honing my skills using only my phone.

It wasn't until college that I was finally able to save up for a Sony camera which turned out to be one of the best investments I've ever made. As I kept shooting the first few months I eventually got the courage to create an instagram account @Albisa.photo which is a nod to my two names that being my middle name and first name (Albert is Adrian). When I'm not behind the lens, I'm diving into other creative outlets like 3D modeling, video editing, graphic design, and cinematography.
